We are particularly proud of our 4 star rating with the English Tourism Council, an award that is not given lightly and assures you of consistent high standards and attention to detail.

Each of our cottages have their own unique features, details of which can be found within their own descriptions but as a minimum you can expect quality furnishings, well equipped kitchens, colour television and video recorder. All duvets, linen and towels are provided, gas fired central heating ensures that Burton Manor Farm Cottages are suitable for a break whatever the weather and our prices include all electricity and power. There is a central games room as well as a washing machine / tumble drier and a freezer (Wragg Barn features it's own freezer and dishwasher).

Outside there is a large garden which the cottages share, ideal for playing games or just lazing around end enjoying the view. There is ample free car parking and we welcome pets by arrangement though remind our guests that as this is a working farm dogs must be kept on a lead.

Burton Manor Farm Cottages are situated on a traditional working family farm and comprise 6 cosy self catering cottages that are equipped to a high standard for your comfort. The cottages enjoy an elevated position and offer exceptional views as well as providing an ideal base for visitors to the Peak District National Park. There are countless acres of unspoilt countryside for you to explore, mile upon mile of footpaths including well established trails along the Limestone Way, Millers Dale and Lathkill Dale as well as a selection of attractions within a short drive.

Our nearest town is Bakewell, strictly speaking the only town in the National Park and offering a wide selection of shops, eating places, a weekly market, swimming pool and ample car parking. Nearby are Buxton, the highest market town in England and famous for Buxton Mineral Water, Castleton with it's renowned caves famous for the semi precious Blue John gemstone, Haddon Hall and the exceptional Chatsworth House with extensive free grounds as well as a fine garden landscaped over centuries and well worth a visit. Perhaps this is why our guests return, with so much to do and explore you can not possibly hope to see everything in just one visit.
